We’re a family of artists working together and individually developing creative skills. We like printmaking, drawing, graphic design, and making things we’re proud of.

Hello!

Solanus Casey was a Catholic friar who is on his way to being declared a saint.

He grew up in Wisconsin about an hour from where we live. As a friar, he served the poor and lived a simple life. People came to him because he listened to them and often shared prophetic wisdom. He had a deep trust in God’s power and generosity; many miracles were attributed to his prayers throughout his life.

Though he died in 1957, we have felt Solanus’ presence as friend and intercessor for many years. As we brainstormed about a name for this art initiative, it felt right to honor the man whose humility, joy, and love of the Lord has inspired us.

Interestingly, as the model for this initiative becomes clearer, we have realized a deeper connection to the spirit of Solanus’ life. Simplicity, gratitude, and finding beauty in everything God gives us. In our art, we are guided by these themes to create beautiful and helpful goods.

Who is Solanus?

“Blessed be God in all His designs!”
